Here is a wonderful little Young Women's Easter handout that I've really enjoyed since last Easter
This was one of the very first projects I made with the new Silhouette
that I had just won at Creative Estates.
(I won it in a random Twitter drawing.....it pays to TWITTER!)
I really wanted something 3-D.....kind of like an Easter basket, to give to each of the girls
to remind them be more like the Savior.
I used the gorgeous papers from the Mariposa Stack that I got for 50% off at JoAnne's
I made a BUNCH of them....all different contrasting colors....but I forgot to take a picture before I gave them all away.
I got this idea as I was preparing for my Easter lesson
and saw this amazing list of the Attributes of Christ on Sugardoodle's website.
Here is the list of Christ's attributes that inspired me:
Charitable
Understanding
Meek
Humble
Tolerant
Knowledgeable
Friendly
Generous
Teachable
Considerate
Longsuffering
Compassionate
Grateful
Goal oriented
Non-judging
Merciful
Forgiving
Prepared
Unselfish
Encouraging
Peaceful
Dutiful
Submissive
Prayerful
Gentle
Patient
Loving
Truthful
Righteous
Helpful
Just
Spiritual
Obedient
Reverent
Courteous
Cheerful
Who doesn't want to better develop all of these?
I printed the attributes onto white cardstock
then cut them down to little strips that fit into the Butterfly Basket.
I keep mine on my bathroom counter and often swap out the attributes
to remind myself to try to be a better person everyday.
HAPPY EASTER, my friends!
