Welcome to The Glitter Academy Fiesta!
Ole!!!
Life is short, so let's start with dessert!
The Glitter Academy dessert spread NEVER disappoints!
Have you ever seen such lacy fondant?
Yes, those are edible!
Ask me how I know.
Glittery cake pops filled with red velvet cake!
Almost too adorable to eat!
We were asked to wear red.
So. I. Did!
A room full of lovelies anxiously waiting to eat and to get their craft on!
I attended the previous Glitter Academy event last September, and it was equally fun!
This time the event was held at the Macayo's in Tempe.
Go check it out for dinner or lunch sometime! It's HUGE and very cool!
The food was great!
Yes, that's a glittery placemat!
Our group was first in line!!! WooHoo!
We weren't excited or anything!
I love hangin with these girls,
Suzi, Kathy, Erin, Kati, Monika, Paula and Rachele!
It's a blast reconnecting with friends!!!
These are two gals I met at the previous event, and I consider them both great friends now!
{This photo booth was outside and the light wasn't so great most of the time. Oops!}
Kathy brought her DIL Kati and her daughter Alli!
They looked like they were having fun all night!
A couple of my regular crafting pals
Rachele from The Ink Boutique aka CraftyAgentMom
and Paula!
The whole group gettin our glitter on!
I love how we all match with our red!
Who's that drinkin the glitter margarita in the back row?
It just so happened to be National Margarita Day! haha
I only know that because of friends I follow on FB and Instagram, in case you were wondering. ;)
I just spent three days in a row with these gals, and I'm pretty sure we didn't get tired of partying together.
That's Suzi from Stranded In Buckeye...No More on the right.
Craziest moment of the night???
When this darling girl Pam comes over and introduces herself AS THE GAL WHO LIVES RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM ME!
We've been neighbors for four years....FOUR....and we've never met.
That's sooooo wrong!!!
But now we HAVE met and we've already set a sushi lunch date!
We have tons of the same friends, who have been telling each of us forever that we need to meet and that we'd be great friends.
I feel like the lamest neighbor EVER,
but seriously, how cool that we've met now!
See, The Glitter Academy really does bring friends together.....with glitter!!!
S.W.A.G.
Cricut gave all of some A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. swag! I will actually use all of this!
The idea was to iron-on the glitter message to the black bag, but many of us were too busy socializing and decided to get the craft on later at home. :)
And yup, I won another drawing! A $25 gift certificate for a custom vinyl or board order.
Someone threw ice at me {Kathy} when I won, because I ALWAYS win!
I'm sorry!!!! I can't help it!!!
Huge thanks to the fabulous sponsors!
And a very VERY huge thanks to The Glitter Academy girls:
Jamielyn, from I Heart Nap Time
Stephanie, from Somewhat Simple
These cuties work super hard to make each and every event spectacular!!!
